Louis "Baby Louis" Daniel Redman Thursday, November 3, 1927 - Tuesday, February 7, 2017

Cumberland, MD – Louis “Baby Louis” Daniel Redman, 89, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
 
Born November 3, 1927, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Redman was the son of the late Bessie Davis, his grandmother who raised him.  He was also preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Redman; his daughter: Kelly Frazier; his sister: Leota Twyman: his grandson: Kerry Harper; and his great grandson: Corrhon Harper.
 
A graduate of Carver High School, Louis retired from C&P Telephone Company with 40 years of service and was a landlord for many years.  He was a member of a local band where he played the saxophone and sang.  Louis was also a member of the Fort Myers Post #153 American Legion SAL.  He was a great father, grandfather, and loved to dance.
 
Louis is survived by his son: Carl Fisher and wife, Elizabeth; and his daughter: Pamela Peck and husband, Robert.  He also leaves behind a special nephew: Marvin Page; a special niece: Penny Page; his brother: William “Bill” Redman; and his cousin: Richard White and wife, Robin.  Louis is also survived by his grandchildren: Dionne Bowers; Daniel Harper and wife Kelly, Tifani Fisher, and Alexis Fisher; his great-grandchildren: Chutnee Harper and fiancé Tim; Christian Harper; Logan Harper; Braylen Harper; Camile Wilkinson; Cyrrah Fisher; Caden Fisher-Wilkinson; and Caleb Bowers; and his great-great grandchildren: Chance and Canyen.
 
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
 
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon David Conley officiating.  The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service.
 
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Louis, sorry to see your name in the obits, you led a good long life my friend and now you are enjoying your heavenly reward. Remember you from many, many years ago when I was a letter carrier with the post office and you worked for C&P.
