Jaquelyn “Jackie” Sue Reuschel Friday, July 10, 1953 - Tuesday, June 27, 2017

Ridgeley, WV – Jaquelyn “Jackie” Sue Reuschel, 63, of Ridgeley, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit.
Born July 10, 1953, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Reuschel was the daughter of the late Ralph R. Readd and Elva Jean (Spang) Readd.  She was also preceded in death by an uncle: Harold K. Spang.
A graduate of Fort Ashby High School, Jackie was a former employee of the Schwab Company and retired from Orbital ATK.  She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church and attended the Potter’s House Fellowship.  Jackie enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 42 years: William “Dave” Reuschel; and her son: David William Reuschel and wife, Shari.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Skylar, Sage, and Sarille Reuschel; her sisters: Iris Dennison and husband, Denny; and Gloria Miller and husband, Delford; her brother: Ralph D. “Danny” Readd; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, June 30, 2017, at 10:00 A.M., with Pastor Paul Dietz officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
A special thanks to WMHS Hampshire Memorial Hospital Long Time Care Unit and the Hospice of the Panhandle for all the help, care, and concern during Jackie’s illness.

I am a volunteer at Piney Valley in Keyser and I remember Jackie when she was a resident here. I am saddened by her passing. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.


I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember Jackie from high school. Her best friend, Nancy Welch, was our babysitter when we were kids and we thought she and Jackie were so beautiful and cool.   My deepest sympathy. To her family and friends.
