Carol Ann Cassady Saturday, July 26, 1941 - Wednesday, July 5, 2017

Cumberland, MD – Carol Ann Cassady, 75, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home.
 
Born July 26, 1941, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Cassady was the daughter of the late Robert M. Ziler and Gyneth L. (Howard) Ziler.  She was also preceded in death by her husband: Charles M. Cassady, 2003.
 
A graduate of Girls Central High School, Carol was employed at the Brandenburg Center for 18 years and C&P Telephone Company.  She was an active member of the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  Carol was a dedicated Redskin's and Elvis fan.  She loved her family and will be missed by them and all her friends.  Carol was a member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church.
 
Carol is survived by her son: Michael “Cass” S. Cassady and Kim M. Cassady, Seville, OH; and her daughter: Leslie A. Cassady, Cumberland, MD.  She also leaves behind a special grandson: Tyler S. “Doodles” Cassady, on duty with the United States Air Force stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
 
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. 
 
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 1:00 P.M., followed by a service conducted by the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
 
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

I had so many good times with Carol. We went to Cathoilic Girls central together. She had a great personality and so much fun to be with. Much love to Leslie and her brother. May she rest in peace. God bless her.
